Ipsy Bag Review
Have you guys heard about a monthly makeup bag subscription called Ipsy? If not, I am going to tell you all about it!
I love makeup! However, I can't spend hundreds of dollars on the items that I want to try out. About 8 months ago, I discovered Ipsy makeup bag subscription. I was instantly excited to sign up, because it only costs $10 a month! For this money, you will receive 5 makeup and beauty product samples. The only downside is that you will probably be placed on the waitlist because the number of people signing up for this service is huge.
Once you sign up to receive your monthly makeup bags, you fill out a survey, which helps determine which brands you are interested in receiving. You are able to pick out your favourite makeup gurus, and a makeup style that is close to your heart. Instead of taking a cookie-cutter approach, or fumbling through all the choices in makeup, you get an amazing curated selection sent to your door.
Now let's talk about the products that I have received so far. All the products are amazing. Yes, they are sample size, but I am able to try them out, without spending all the money for super expensive products. For example, a couple of months ago I received a Marc Jacobs lipstick in my bag. The mini size that was in my bag actually costs $30 at Sephora! I would definitely not purchase a mini lipstick for that much money, so getting it in my Ipsy bag was an awesome surprise!
The packaging is amazing. I always appreciate the little details, so I am always excited to see the makeup bag! Just look at the designs; they are so cute!
Overall, I have been loving my Ipsy bags. I usually find it in my mailbox in the middle of every month. I have never had problems with not getting my bag (knock on wood).
