I Customized My Phone Case: GoCustomized Review!
What is your most important possession that you always carry with you? I am 90% sure that it is your phone! I can honestly say that I cannot live without my phone. I heard about people switching it off completely during weekends, but that idea sounds so foreign to me.
During the weekends, I often go exploring Boston. After several years of living here, I still find places that are completely new to me. This is why I always need my phone with me, because I love taking photos of these spaces.
As you can see from my photos, my current phone case has a photo of Boston on it. This is a photo that I took myself a few weeks ago at this same spot in the city. Whenever I look at this case, it reminds me of how amazing Boston is, and how lucky I am to live here!
Anyway... Let me tell you about the case! I was approached by a company called GoCustomized, which helps customers personalize their gadgets. I was excited because I have never had a customized phone case. Perhaps I was a little lazy, because I always thought it would take a while to customize a phone case. I love shopping online, but I hate when the process is super long.
So I agreed to review a phone case, and I am very glad that I did! It literally took me five minutes to order it. I chose the case, uploaded a custom photo, added my shipping information, and voila!
I've had this case for a couple of weeks now. I also dropped it many times, because I swear I have butter fingers when it comes to holding my phone. BUT... This silicone case is still intact and has no major scratches on it! Most importantly, it protected my phone. After all, that's what it's for, right?
In addition to doing its job, this phone case feels good. It is super slim, and does not make your device feel bulky. My Samsung Galaxy S8 has curved edges, and not all cases fit perfectly, but this one fits just right. I am honestly very impressed with this case!
I also like the way my custom photo came out on this case. I chose a very complex image that had a lot of detail in it. Again, I was very surprised when I opened the package and the photo on the case looked amazing!
I think that it is a really cool idea when a phone case has some kind of meaning to it! Having a photo of your loved one, a pet, a meaningful object, a city, etc., is an amazing idea that will have a special meaning to each one of you!
It also gives you an opportunity to show off your creative side! Maybe, just like me, you are into photography. Or, perhaps you are a painter, or just have an obsession with your cats. You can upload your favourite image and take it with you everywhere you go. How awesome is that? Plus, that way, you can also promote your art! :)
There are a variety of cases that you can choose from at GoCustomized.com, as well as other cool gadgets that you can personalize with your photos. For example, you can customize speakers or a USB card. How cool is that? The prices are reasonable, too! The case that the company sent me costs just $24.99. Totally worth the money!
I also want to let you know that even though this post is a collaboration between this company and my blog, I really do like the case. I would not recommend you something that I am not personally a fan of! :)
