7 Beauty Hacks You Need to Know About!
Hello, lovely girls! I was thinking what to write about today as I was washing off my face mask, and I instantly got an awesome idea! I am going to share with you some of the coolest beauty hacks that I use, as well as some new ones that I just learned about.
So let's just jump into it!
Hack #1: You can use eggs to de-puff undereye bags, and use them as a hair mask for dry and damaged hair!
For the undereye remedy, you will only need egg whites. You can spread them out on the area where you have dark circles and puffiness, wait until egg whites dry, and then wash them off.
For the hair, apply the whole egg throughout. Wait about 20-30 mins, and then wash it out with shampoo. The results are honestly amazing. I used to do this mask at least twice a week!
Hack #2: Use a coffee filter as blotting paper!
I have not used this trick yet because most of the time I carry blotting paper in my bag. Nevertheless, this is such a cool idea, especially when you do not have blotting paper. Like when you are stuck at work and your face is super oily. Totally doing this next time!
Hack #3: Store your beauty blender in a plastic egg!
Okay... This one just blew my mind! You know those plastic eggs that we buy for kids on Easter at the dollar store? Those are perfect containers for beauty blenders or sponges that are shaped like eggs. I always throw my sponge in a drawer (I am making an ewwww face btw), and it just sits there. When using this beauty hack, my poor sponge will actually have a place to be in, and my cats' hairs won't be all over it! Yay! Haha!
Hack #4: Test foundation on your neck to find your real shade!
Did you know that the colour of your neck differs from your face? This is why you should test your foundation right on your jawline to see if it matches the colour of your neck!
Hack #5: Use Vaseline for a bunch of things!
For example, it can be used as a makeup remover! If you don't have lip gloss, you can put some Vaseline on your lips to create the shiny effect of lipgloss. Vaseline can also be used as a moisturizer, especially on your elbows and heels. It does an amazing job softening the skin!
Hack #6: Use translucent powder to make your lipstick matte!
It is such a cool thing now to wear matte lipsticks, but I will be completely honest and say that I don't own many of them. So what I do is put a thin tissue paper on my lips, and then dust some translucent powder on top of the tissue. This creates a nice matte finish without making my lips super dry!
Hack #7: Store your bobby pins in a tic tac container!
Again, my mind is blown! This is such a good idea because I lose my bobby pins all the time, and they are all over my apartment (even my car)! Lol! Hopefully storing them in a tic tac container will help me keep them in one place.
What do you think of these beauty hacks? Please share your own tips and tricks! I am sure your ideas would be a great help for everyone who stumbles upon this post! :)
