Our Wedding Day
It is 10:20 PM, and I am in bed looking through my wedding pictures. I can’t believe it has been 3 months since Jude and I got married. Time really does go by fast. I am feeling a little nostalgic, and I would love to relive that special day once more.
Even though there was a little stress involved in planning the wedding, I am sure you can understand that focusing on every detail of the wedding and trying to graduate from college at the same time can be super hard. On the one hand, I wanted my wedding to be absolutely perfect, but on the other hand, it was very important to successfully graduate. I am so happy that I have such amazing support from my husband and my family. Thanks to them, I was able to balance those two tasks without getting burnt out.
I would like to share with you guys a few pictures from our wedding day, shot by A Thousand Words Photography.
We had an outside ceremony in a beautiful gardenlike location near the water. Jude and I fell in love with the place instantly after we saw it.
It was a little bit windy, which is why the flower petals were all over the place haha.
We had a butterfly release ceremony performed at our wedding. It was one of the best choices we had made while planning. It was so romantic and exciting to see these beautiful creatures fly away. Our guests made their wishes for us before they opened the envelopes, and then they let the butterflies out. It was definitely an unforgettable experience.
My mom spent so much time practicing different hair styles before this day (she is a hair dresser), but I decided to have my hair down with a waterfall braid and this gorgeous accessory.
Our first dance was to John Legend's "All of Me". It was perfect. My mom cried the whole time; she is so cute.
The funny thing is we didn't even get to eat our own cake. We had so many emotions bottled up that we forgot to enjoy this part of the night. Well, honestly speaking, cake was the last on our list of priorities when we were planning the wedding. For some reason, I just didn't care that much about it, but I am happy that our photographers took a bunch of pictures of the cake.
I am so happy with the way everything turned out. Everything did end up perfect. :)
